Outstanding Penn undergraduates can be considered for a four-year B.A.-M.S. in the Criminology program. For rules and policies, please refer to the College's website on Submatriculation.
Before beginning the application process, interested students must declare their intentions to Caroline Gonzalez, Undergraduate Coordinator, for advice on schedule planning for junior year. The M.S. program consists of 8 required graduate-level courses, all in the final year.
After meeting with Dr. Gary Purpura, interested students should fill out a graduate application online and obtain at least two letters of recommendation, preferably from outside of the Criminology Department.
GRE scores and application fees are waived.
Once the Department of Criminology receives your application, it is reviewed in tandem with the Graduate School admissions office.
