To complete the honors thesis, students must:
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.4 (within the major)
- Obtain approval from the CRIM 4000 instructor
- Secure a criminology faculty member as thesis advisor
- Demonstrate relevant coursework (e.g., CRIM 4002) or data experience, as assessed by the CRIM 4000 instructor. Students are encouraged to complete CRIM 4002 (or equivalent) by their third year, through fall of senior year is also acceptable.
