Viet Nguyen is a doctoral student in the Department of Criminology. He holds a BA in political science, with a minor in public policy, from the University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests include corrections policy and criminal justice reform. Prior to beginning his doctoral studies, he was a research associate at the Public Policy Institute of California where he conducted research on the impact of Public Safety Realignment and Proposition 47 in California.
