Riley Spires is a master's student in the Department of Criminology from Portland, Oregon. Prior to starting at Penn, Riley interned at the Coconino County Medical Examiners Office, assisting in autopsies and learning various forensic death investigation duties of a Medical Investigator. She also interned at the Flagstaff Police Department, working with the detectives in the Criminal Investigations Division. Riley also gained experience interning at Northern Arizona Care and Services After Assault, observing and assisting in Medical Forensic Exams. Riley received a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Social Science Forensics, from Northern Arizona University.
