Olivia Oles

Olivia Oles is pursuing her Master’s degree in the Department of Criminology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminology from Florida State University (FSU) with a minor in Psychology. During her time at FSU, Olivia interned at the Florida Commission on Offender Review where she served as a Victim Advocate. In this role, she was responsible for outreach to victims and their families, preparing case files, and coordinating parole hearings. In addition, she served on various student boards, including Title IX Review and Residential Conduct. At the National Crisis Text Line, Olivia volunteered as a Crisis Counselor to help individuals throughout the United States who are struggling with urgent mental health challenges. She intends to continue her focus on helping those in need through Victim Advocacy. Outside of academic pursuits, Olivia enjoys performing in musical theater productions and spending quality time with her bird, Sonny.
