Olivia Corley

Olivia Corley is a master’s student in the Department of Criminology from Columbus, Ohio. Before joining the Penn community, Olivia attended the University of Kentucky where she graduated Magna cum laude and received both a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Criminology, as well as a B.A. in Public Policy. Olivia has been involved in numerous research initiatives that include the studying of intimate partner violence among marginalized populations, maternal incarceration, as well as the societal impact of felony disenfranchisement. Olivia is also interested in social science research concerning mass incarceration and ways to reduce recidivism. Inspired by her passion for social justice, Olivia’s future plans include continuing to advocate for fairness and equality by creating policies that are inclusive, timely, and effective in addressing issues for communities in need of positive change.
