Lindsay Graef

Lindsay Graef is a doctoral student in the Department of Criminology. Her research focuses on pretrial justice, with an emphasis on policy-relevant, applied research. She currently works with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office to study prosecutor-led reforms and the role of prosecutors in the criminal justice system. Prior to starting at Penn, Lindsay worked with Harvard’s Government Performance Lab to design and test a lighter-touch, responsive pretrial supervision model to support bail reform efforts in Harris County, Texas. She has also worked as a case manager in a juvenile probation camp in Los Angeles and assisted the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors with criminal justice reform projects. Lindsay holds dual master’s degrees in Social Welfare and Public Policy from UCLA.
