Jessica Bimstein is a full-time Program Associate for the CJP. Prior to joining Penn’s Criminology department, Bimstein worked in the non-profit sector through the management of prisoner reentry programs and coordinated RCTs at the Institute of Living in Hartford Hospital. She has a specific interest in the intersection of criminal justice and mental health. Bimstein is published in journals such as JAMA, Substance Use and Misuse, and Journal of Psychopathology and Behavioral Assessment.
Jessica graduated from the College of William & Mary with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology, Law, and Society.
