Braeden Cupp graduated summa cum laude in May of 2025 from Binghamton University. During his time there, he was a double major in political science and history, earning a departmental honors designation for his undergraduate thesis titled The Faint Echo of a Silent Cry: Promoting Accountability in the Global Human Trafficking Crisis. His work focuses on the relationship of organized crime in the international system and governmental accountability. Braeden's interest in criminology stemmed from his extensive involvement in his time as an undergraduate in various internship positions ranging from district attorney offices, to large private firms. By pursuing his Master of Science in Criminology at the University of Pennsylvania, he hopes to strengthen his knowledge through the interdisciplinary approach to contribute positively to the field of study. Braeden is also interested in exploring art and cultural property crime, particularly its lucrative and unique role in both organized and unorganized crime.
