Master of Science in Criminology
Kailin is a Prison Officer back in Singapore. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Psychology from the National University of Singapore. After 12 years of working with female inmates and male drug addicts, as well as doing policy work on resource management and training, she is pursuing personal and professional development in the Masters of Criminology program here at UPenn. Besides being a full-time student, she is also a full-time mom, with two lovely boys aged 4 and 2. Her academic interests are in policies on drugs and their effects on prevention of crime and re-offending. In the recent months, she is also interested in understanding terrorism as part of criminology.
