Kirsten Butville is a part-time master’s student in the Department of Criminology. Kirsten graduated from Arcadia University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, concentrating in forensic science. After completing undergrad, Kirsten spent four years working within the commercial biotechnology space manufacturing cell therapy for cancer treatment. In 2019, Kirsten transitioned to working for The University of Pennsylvania’s Gene Therapy Program where she continues to work full-time manufacturing viral vectors for research. After completing the criminology program, Kirsten intends to continue her education and pursue a master’s degree in forensic science.
