Assistant Professor Position Open in the Department

Position Description: The Department of Criminology at the University of Pennsylvania (http://www.crim.upenn.edu) invites applications for a faculty position, effective July 1, 2017.  We anticipate making an appointment of a quantitative criminologist at the assistant professor level.  The substantive field is open. As an interdisciplinary department in the School of Arts and Sciences, the criminology program addresses crime and justice through quantitative research methods. We seek candidates with outstanding research records, advanced training in statistics, econometrics, and/or computer science, as well as criminology, an interdisciplinary research perspective, and a serious commitment to teaching.
